Liquid complex fertilizers (LCF 11:37) are an water solution of ammonium phosphates containing two nutrients: nitrogen and phosphorus in the ratio 11:37. Phosphorus in LCF is present in the form of ortho- and polyphosphates, in a completely digestible form. Liquid complex fertilizer is a transparent, greenish-bluish liquid, which practically does not contain insoluble residues, suspensions.

LCF (11-37) is a highly effective, high-speed fertilizer. In addition to condensed phosphates and nitrogen, the HCS contains sulfur, magnesium. All nutrients are in solution, therefore they are easily accessible to plants, they also have high efficiency in crops of any crop, in all regions of Ukraine, especially on carbonate soils.

Transportation, storage: LCF does not contain free ammonia, so they can be stored and transported in leaking containers.

The LCF lacks the drawbacks inherent in solid fertilizers. They have free flowing, do not dust, do not croak, the wet weather, and rain do not have any influence on them. This basic fertilizer is often used to produce triple LCF of various compositions, by adding cold urea, ammonium nitrate and potassium chloride, fertilizers can be produced with the required ratio of active substances.

Phosphorus-containing liquid suspension complex fertilizers SLCF NP (S) 6:24 (2), NP (S) 8:22 (10) are aqueous solutions of nutritive salts with different ratios of nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur. Nutrient components in SLCF are contained in the form of the same salts as in classical dry fertilizers. Salt fertilizer system is a collection of monoammonium phosphate (ammophos), diammonium phosphate and ammonium sulfate.

Fertilizers are not aggressive, do not contain free ammonia, acidity level of the suspension is 5,8 ÷ 6,5 units, density is 1,3 ÷ 1,4 kg / dm3, white-yellow-greenish shade.

The application of SLCF is carried out with the help of equipment for applying liquid mineral fertilizers. Fertilizer is applied to the required depth, while presowing or continuous cultivation of the soil is carried out simultaneously.

Usage of LCF has unquestionable advantages over solid fats: high uniformity of nutrients in the soil, rapid penetration to plant roots, adequate nutrition, reduced losses, better working conditions. Additional fertilization with solutions of LCF can be combined with soil treatment with microelements, plant protection products (herbicides, insecticides).

They should be used in the same way as solid fertilizers: by a continuous distribution on the soil surface before plowing, cultivation and harrowing, locally during sowing, and also for feeding – when inter-row cultivation is tilled or superficially on cultures of continuous sowing. For their transportation and application, in addition to special machines, it is possible to use a complex of machines used for water ammonia, UAN, liquid manure, etc.

Any sprayer can be converted to make an LCF – to carry out foliar top dressing it is necessary to replace the spray nozzles of sprayers with deflectors. The size of the drops sprayed with sprayers when applying plant protection products (herbicides, insecticides) does not exceed 0.3 mm. This is done so that the drops fall on the pests and stay on the leaves, thereby protecting them from phytophages.

But when feeding the LCF, it is necessary to achieve such a droplet size that the substance slides off the plant only by moistening the sheet. And the deflector nozzles just give the required large-droplet solution. Slotted nozzles can be used only when applied with herbicides, with mandatory dilution of water and LCF. For work in windy weather, use extension hoses.

On soils with a low content of mobile phosphates, the main part of the dose of phosphorus fertilizers is applied for deep cultivation of the soil in the moist layer, for example from autumn to plowing, and some are applied locally in rows, wells and furrows. With a series application, phosphates have less contact with the soil and are closer to the roots of plants in the early period of their development. Especially high increments from topical application are obtained on soils that are poor in mobile phosphorus.
